Common questions
How do I play?
A founder pitches. Tap a question to ask it (you get three per pitch), then make an offer, outbid another shark, or stay out. After the last pitch, the game jumps three years ahead and shows what every company became. The richest shark wins the episode. In the game, Settings → How it works explains every rule.
Where is my progress kept?
On your phone. There is no account, so your progress doesn't move to another phone by itself. If you delete the game, your progress is deleted with it.
I closed the game in the middle of an episode.
Your episode saves itself after every decision. Open the game again and pick it up where you left off.
How do I change the language?
The game follows your phone's language (English, Dutch, German or Spanish). To choose another one, go to Settings → Language. Menus and subtitles change; the voices stay English.
How do I turn the voices or the music off?
In Settings → Sound: music, effects and voices each have their own switch.
How do reminders work?
In Settings → Pitch of the Day you choose the reminders you want (the Pitch of the Day, your portfolio, a Flash Pitch) and at what time. Your phone plans them itself.
How do I play a season with friends?
Start a season on the home screen and share its code. Your friends enter the code in the game to join (up to eight players). Everyone plays the same six episodes, at their own pace. You can leave a season at any time; your name and results leave with you.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the game from your phone: everything it kept is gone. For a season with friends, leave the season first. The game's server keeps nothing that says who you are (see Privacy).
